It's not her fault

It's not her fault.

That's what her acting contributed to the film. She just became the representative character of the movie. Before the film ends, a character needs to be created to express himself.

Kristen Dunst deserves it.

"She is the most careless of all the careless people; she is the most extravagant of all the extravagant people; she is the most extravagant of all the flippant people. She is the embodiment of the eighteenth century, and no one can compare She better represents the social style of the 18th century. She is the symbol of the 18th century, and the end of the 18th century." - Zweig, "The Severe Queen"

Gorgeous, empty, light. Filled with sympathy and pity for Marie Antoinette - Kristen Dunst, she did it all.

I went to see it for the clothes... the director really can’t grasp the whole point of the film... but this movie only needs clothes.

Costume\scenery is good, no plot. Marie Antoinette (November 2, 1755 - October 16, 1793) was an Austrian Grand Duchess in her early years and later Queen of France. She was the 15th child of Holy Roman Emperor Franz I and Empress Maria Theresia, the second last of all children.
