It's a nice movie

After watching this movie, I realized how much NIXON hurt the feelings of the American people.
But his lonely eyes at the end of the plot made me, as an outsider, feel helpless, unable to sympathize with him.

I kept looking at my watch while watching the movie, because I still couldn't figure out how long and interesting a story could be made up from such a simple interview.
Sure enough, the director added a lot of emotional material to it. Make this film more like an inspirational baseball film.
For example, the scene where NIXON's soul out-of-body and FROST communicated.
If NIXON hadn't forgotten his out-of-body soul, then this story was on his side.
But Nixon forgot, so the director is actually on FROST's side.
He finally put NIXON into such a category, the confused and overwhelmed old man, the rigorous and tough thinking is no match for the soul with a sense of guilt.

Frost/Nixon quotes

  • David Frost: [Picking up the phone, thinking it's room service] I'll have a cheeseburger.

Richard Nixon: [drunk] Mmm. That sounds good. I used to love cheeseburgers, but Dr. Lundgren made me give them up. He switched me to cottage cheese and pineapple instead. He calls them my Hawaiian burgers, but they don't taste like burgers at all. They taste like Styrofoam.

  • Richard Nixon: David, did I really call you that night?

    David Frost: Yes.

Richard Nixon: Did we discuss anything important?

    David Frost: Cheeseburgers.

    Richard Nixon: Cheeseburgers?

    David Frost: Goodbye, sir.
