These aren't three musketeers

Compared with "The Three Musketeers", I love Alexandre Dumas' "The Count of Monte Cristo" more. The story of "The Three Musketeers" is not that ups and downs, and some character relationships make people feel a bit chaotic. Both novels gave me a sense of tragedy. The Count of Monte Cristo was doomed from the beginning of his novel to a life full of misery and vengeance. Athos and D'Artagnan in the Musketeer are also victims in the story, especially Athos can be said to be a sad man.
When I finished reading this novel, I didn't find it amazing. Maybe it's because I've read too many contemporary stories. The plot of "The Three Musketeers" is too simple and I'm a little uninterested, or maybe it's not my type. Bar.
The movie "The Three Musketeers" left a small part of the character relationships and plots, but the most classic past of Athos and Milady was attributed to the cliché of love betrayal, and little D'Artagnan also got a perfect one. ending. The seemingly perfect ending ruins the essence of the whole story.
The director of "Resident Evil" filmed "The Three Musketeers". I thought it would be a time-travel story, some kind of virus zombie apocalypse, but I didn't expect it to become an aerospace version of "Pirates of the Caribbean". Personal heroism, flying over the wall, guns and sticks. Director Paul Anderson is no longer obsessed with zombies. The scenes in the Musketeer have a strong modern sense in retro, which is very gorgeous, but that's all, it is not enough to add some scenes to the thin plot.

Speechless, hypocritical. Am I getting old or are these movies really bad enough? !

The Three Musketeers quotes

  • D'Artagnan: What? Do you think you have the monopoly on loss? What if she dies? The life of one woman or the future of France? What would you do if you were in my position?

Athos: I've made a lot of sacrifices. Made a lot of hard choices. For honor, for King, for country. Do you know what I 've learned, boy? Hard choices and sacrifices do not keep you warm at night. And life is too damn short and too damn long to go through without someone at your side. Don't end up like me. Choose the woman. Fight for love, D'Artagnan. France will take care of itself.

  • Porthos: Planchet, what are you?

Planchet: Complete and utter waste of space, sir.

    Porthos: And?

Planchet: As much use as a fart in a bottle, sir.

    Porthos: Right.

Planchet: In short, sir, a total tit, sir, but I can't work bleeding miracles!
