The Stoke family seems to be happy, but they are not. Father Richard and mother Evelyn have always been at odds. Daughter India has followed her father to learn hunting since she was a child, and has a deep relationship. Since Richard's sudden death, the entire Stoker family has been thrown into a doom and gloom.
During the funeral of her father Richard, India found a handsome but stern-faced man who looked a little like her father, and was paying attention to her from time to time. After the funeral, her mother entertained relatives and friends, and India saw the man again. After being introduced by her mother, she found out that he was her uncle Charlie, who was far away in England. It is said that he graduated from Oxford University and was quite successful, but India had never heard her father mention such an uncle. There was something wrong with the housekeeper mother-in-law. She obviously knew Charlie and seemed to be afraid of Charlie. One day, India finds out that Charlie and the mother-in-law have an argument, and then the mother-in-law is gone the next day. Charlie was going to cook for India and his mother, and India went to the spooky basement to get food, something seemed wrong. In the morning, Charlie dug a hole in the front lawn and put a ball on it.
During this period of time, mother Ephine and Charlie got closer and closer, and from time to time Ephine flirted with Charlie, without feeling restrained in front of Richard at all. Soon after, a distant relative of my father came to the house, an old lady, Richard and Charlie's aunt. During dinner, the aunt seemed to have something to tell Ephraim and India, but was stopped by Charlie. After leaving the house and going to the hotel, India never saw the aunt again. Later, things got weirder. Charlie seemed to start pursuing India, driving a car behind India and taking her to school. Once, India and a male classmate date, and then the two are about to have a relationship, and Charlie kills them. India understood that the housekeeper's mother-in-law and the distant aunt were killed by Charlie, and the lawn in front of the door was used to bury them.
Charlie wants to leave here with India. India agrees and packs up. As India learns more and more, he finds out that Charlie is a mental patient, and it is very likely that he was a man many years ago. He killed his younger brother, and not long ago killed his own elder brother, India's father. Charlie was going to kill Ephine before he left, and was shot by India, and Mother Nature understood what was going on. India drove the car away alone.
