like watching a beautiful song

It's a really good movie, but its title may not be appealing enough. Different from the feeling of watching American horror films in the past, in addition to the shock of the plot, the beauty of the lens is a very fascinating place.

The first half of the story progressed slowly, and what kept me watching was basically the ingenious shots. The low-angle fixation of the first shot of the whole film seems to be peeping, but the distance is very far, and the characters cannot be clearly seen. Then, a few close-ups are added to the environmental shots, and the narration starts with a silent transition time. At first, it was a little confusing. But the sensory experience mobilized with the inner narrative of the characters has to be said to be perfect.

The push-pull and panning shots in the film are very rhythmic, and everything is moving slowly, but this slow movement brings a kind of shock and visual expansion. The stark contrast between the appearance of all the characters at the farewell banquet at home and the heroine peeling eggs alone, whether it is from the color or the amount of information, the vision seems to be broadened all at once. Opening the door to another space should also imply that time has passed and a story that happened at another moment.

The scene of the shoes is full of suspense and harvest. The camera moves to the right across the face to the shoes. The change of shoes from big to small is very comfortable. Then the camera pans to the right again to the face. I can't help but wonder how it can go all the way to the right to return to the face. I thought there was a problem with the direction of the lens, but when a big panorama came out, I understood everything. It seemed that the director was wrong.

There are many similar scenes, and the director has found them very well in many angles, and they all drive the plot to a large extent. For example, when Uncle Charlie and the heroine's mother went out for a drive, the change of light and shade on the uncle's face when the convertible lifted the roof, heralded the death of the first person;

Uncle Charlie blocked Aunt Kim in the last panorama of the table, and she died.

It's just that such a lens may appear a little dazzling.

Out of the camera, in the foreshadowing and foreshadowing of the plot, there are also amazed. I remember that at the beginning of the funeral, the shoes of the heroine and her mother were featured, and finally the heroine changed into high heels given by her uncle. Shoes became an important clue, as did belts, spiders, etc.

Although it is not scary at first glance, it is very beautiful. It is like watching an MV or listening to a song. The beauty of artistic conception may be here.
