There are two reasons why I watched this film. One is because the title attracts me. Frankly speaking, I will always unconsciously give birth to a lot of fantasies about such a simple and almost plain title, and have a virtual invigorating feeling of tasting sweetness from the clear water. The love of plainness, simplicity, and simplicity is sometimes like longing for a sunny day in a rainy season, while rejection of prosperity, splendor, and impetuousness is sometimes like the incapable uneasiness presented by impetuous, splendid, and prosperous. A simple station name is a clean magnet, and it is often more tense than a sculpted ornate rhetoric, whether it is to express, the plot or the thoughts it will present. To put it bluntly, this simple station name aroused my strong curiosity. The second is because of the inappropriate information conveyed by the introduction of the film. The introduction is like this, "Oscar came out of prison and planned to live anew, but since meeting his old inmates at Fruitville Station, his life has been completely rewritten..." It is precisely because of this introduction that I am watching the movie. Zhong has been speculating on the development of the plot with anticipation. However, until the end of the film, I didn't see the development of the plot that I expected, and I couldn't even talk about the plot. It wasn't until the three paragraphs of text appeared at the end that this was just a replay of an event. A feeling of being deceived spontaneously arises. However, after thinking about it from beginning to end, I found that this is a film that deserves to be taken seriously.
This is a film that is presented in the form of a film, but it is not castrated by the entertainment attribute of the "movie", but only shows the truth to people and conveys a signal that an event should attract people's attention and attention.
When I realized that this film is an artificial representation of a real event, the expectations I had before watching the movie and the thoughts that emerged from the movie lost their meaning, because I looked at a reality with the mentality of watching a movie. The social incident of China is itself a biased behavior, especially when it is clear that people in the general sense may have the same experience, the stand of watching the fire from the other side cannot stand.
Oscar's life experience is naturally difficult for people to copy, but the feeling of powerlessness and humbleness shown by being alone under a certain violent group resonates in my heart. I have to admit that in the scene where Oscar was shot and killed by the police, my heart screamed and screamed amidst bursts of anger. Faced with the intimidation, threats and oppression of violent groups, I responded with raging anger from the bottom of my heart, but when I realized that my anger could not even match the arrogant eyes of those in power, I had no choice but to scream silently in the abyss of powerlessness.
For movies, the setting of the plot can follow the direction people expect. Both the viewer and the film itself will unconsciously place the film on the "unreal" seat, and thus promote the viewer's feelings of satisfaction, comedy, or tragedy. But when it comes to a real event, this sense of satisfaction will fall into an awkward situation because of the loss of the other. The film cannot tell the event more sadly, and it is not easy to interpret the event more satisfactorily. So, it It can only be an event, it does not matter whether it is a tragedy or a comedy. For the event itself, this is actually a tragedy, even a tragedy. What happened to Oscar is just as any individual of us might encounter. In the face of violence or power groups, the individual is like a dog under the wheel, who can only be surprised, frightened, and frightened. This is true no matter how you resist. However, after watching a real event happen, even though we have a lot of worries about our own life situation, we still have to go back to it, just like after the movie ends, we still have to go home.
We need this society, even though it is so dangerous; we fear this society, even though it is so important.
