a different experience

It is difficult to accurately evaluate the movie-watching experience this movie brings to me. It is not a simple sense of tragedy, but a bit close to the extreme compassion and powerlessness that comes from the bottom of my heart.

I still remember that afternoon, I just watched Dancer in the Dark, I wanted to get rid of that unbearable feeling of depression and walked onto the bustling street, but my heart was still uncontrollably low, the sky and the whole world seemed to be dark and gloomy. .

This is really a different kind of feeling, but it is difficult to describe accurately.

Reminds me that there was a time when the film academy divided a good film into three realms:

the first category: continuous laughter during the screening, big box office sales.
Category 2: There was silence during the screening. At the end of the film, the audience stood up and applauded with tears in their eyes.
The third category: The screening was silent, and when the lights came on at the end, the audience looked gloomy and did not say a word, and for the next few weeks, there were always people in the cafeteria, the playground, and the classroom discussing the film vigorously.

I'm not sure if Dancer in the Dark should be a good movie, I can only be sure it doesn't fall into the first two categories.
