Director Wu, please make the structure more complicated, okay?

It's a good script in itself. Memory, amnesia, clues remind people of "Memento". With Director Wu's ability to grasp the gunfight, if coupled with a good structural clue, a very good film can be made.

But what we have seen is actually like this. When the plot has just progressed to 1/3, I already know the ins and outs. The 19 clues carried in the envelope, except for the first few that can be "set up", the rest are just embellishments. Especially the last few clues, after knowing the final outcome, they became Wu Dao's hot and clichéd scenes.

It's a pity Xiaoben, who looks like a "special agent" is not bad; as for Sister Thurman, she feels a lot older, and she looks like a "resentful woman", which is a bit unappetizing. Several supporting roles are quite familiar, one appeared in "The Dark Knight", and the other seems to have appeared in "24" Season 7.

Entering the 21st century, the traditional structures of the 20th century are no longer interesting enough. The flat and straightforward depiction method has been seen too much, which is a bit too simplistic. What we need now is a more sophisticated framework, if the structure is complex enough, even if the story ends up being simple, but compelling enough.

Director Wu looks really old. From "The True Color of Heroes" back then, to the peak of "Blood and Blood", and the subsequent "Face Change", the peak period has ended. It's just a pity that a director who was originally very thoughtful has finally returned to the world.

There is no suspense setting, there is no perfect answer, only the gunfight action, bang bang tied.

I watched it in a movie theater, Siming, most likely I watched it myself. At that time, I especially enjoyed the freedom of one person, even the loneliness of one person was filled with happiness.
