The logic of the whole play is no longer self-consistent. John has changed from a hermit who takes "evil" in order to persuade people to be good, to an omniscient and omnipotent "God" who can manipulate the development of things for a long time after death.
That doesn't mean much.
And the focus of the whole play has turned to the novelty of killing tricks, or that's all that's left. Tragically, in 6, we seem to see that the screenwriter of the movie is very poor, and several techniques make people feel powerless, not fear or novelty.
The series should be over, but lionsgate is clearly still squeezing, seeing as the last detective is already like that, he's not dead, and basically we'll see him by this time next year.
