Loneliness, Forbearance and Tolerance

Before watching "The Queen", I was puzzled why Meryl Streep lost to Helen Miller when she played a witch to perfection. But today I finally understand that the queen played by Helen Miller, whose restraint and forbearance touched the softest part of the human heart, evoked similar emotional memories for most people. When public sentiment is already on your side, there is no reason not to win.
The queen is proud, proud without any reason: 2,500-week monarch of a country, ten prime ministers before and after, and the support and love of the whole country.
But all these proud capitals quietly changed in the summer of 1998 and almost collapsed. A woman named Diana, with her beauty and affinity, as well as a little itchy gossip affair; an imperfect but popular image has won the support of many people, and pointed the finger directly at the royal family and the queen. What is even more unfortunate is that she died in a car accident when the conflict between the two parties was the most intense. As a result, the emotions of the entire British people were intensified under the manipulation of the media, and spontaneous mourning and wave after wave of criticism flocked to the royal family. Although Diana is no longer a member of the royal family, her former identity has accumulated enough attention capital for her and the interest groups behind her. The people, or the manipulators standing in the corner behind the people, have demanded royal treatment for Diana's funeral, and even more than that, including the courtesy that no king has ever died - Buckingham Palace and its affiliated palaces All flags at half-staff in our condolences! The queen struggled and resisted, but in the end she gave in in this wave of emotional waves and met those demands one by one. Change, right or wrong, maybe no one can tell, whether to follow the trend or stick to one's own opinion, and the answer can only be given after it becomes history!
Two details in the film were touching:
The off-road vehicle driven by the Queen broke down in the creek at the Royal Hunting Ground. While waiting for the repairmen to arrive, the Queen stood by the vehicle and finally sobbed softly because she could not bear the recent pressure. Turning around inadvertently, he suddenly saw the fourteen-fork rare stag that his husband said he would hunt. He stood across the river and looked at him, his eyes warm and soft, as if comforting the queen. The Queen burst into tears. Hearing that the hunting party of her husband and grandson was approaching, she quickly urged the stag to leave... When the queen finally could not resist the attack and decided to follow Blair's advice and go to offer her condolences, his husband told her in the corridor that the stag ran to The nearby hunting grounds were hunted by others. The queen was startled and hurried to the slaughtering room where the specimens were made, and saw that the deer had been decapitated. At this moment, the eyes of the deer's head placed on the table have become blurred... The taxidermist told her that this deer was hunted by a banker. A trace of sadness flashed on the queen's face, and she returned to her former calm in an instant. She said to the producer, "Congratulate your guest for me." The deer symbolizes the glory and splendor of the past; and now it has been hunted by new social resource holders. Kill...what a metaphor!
The Queen swallowed all her reluctance and came to Buckingham Palace to meet the condolences. Seeing that the cards of the bouquets for Diana were full of words attacking her, she felt extremely sad, but when she turned to face the crowd, He held back a peaceful smile. She walked up to a little girl: can I help you put the bouquet there? "Little girl: "No! "Perhaps at that moment, the queen's time was almost stagnant, and her heart was on the verge of collapse. But then, the little girl said perhaps the warmest words in the whole film: "This is for you" After experiencing the great sorrow, the queen suddenly Only then did I realize that my people still love me! When dedicating their whole life to the country and people they love, they did not abandon her because of a momentary misunderstanding! Any leader believes that after accepting this You will be full of love and courage in your heart, keep moving forward!
The Queen is great, she knows how to make changes in line with the trend at the right time, and no matter what she does, she is for her motherland and for Your own people, and the system that you are not used to but defended to the death! The power that bursts from the love in your heart is powerful, and it can help you overcome all difficulties!
And I also saw from the film how much energy tolerance can bring to life. Blair has a bickering wife who disagrees, but draws family warmth and career support from her. In his think tank, there will always be quarrels with different political opinions, but they can always bring him the right decision at the critical moment. The Queen's tolerance is a high level of wisdom in life. At the moment when she is surrounded by the emotions of the public, even if she has a thousand helplessness and humiliation, she should calmly judge the situation, suppress her feelings, and act rationally.
So, judge calmly and accept that there is no malice in your life, which will help improve your opinion!

The Queen quotes

  • Prince Philip: Have you seen the latest funeral guest list?

    HM Queen Elizabeth II: No.

Prince Philip: I suggest you keep it that way. A chorus line of soap stars and homosexuals.

  • Alastair Campbell: They, er, sent a copy of the Queen's speech. Might want to scrape the frost off it first... Oh, I phoned them with a couple of suggestions, to make it sound like it came from a human being.

Tony Blair: Yeah, all right, Alastair.

Alastair Campbell: Well, at least the old bat's finally agreed to visit Diana's coffin.

Tony Blair: You know, when you get it wrong, you really get it wrong! That woman has given her whole life in service to her people. Fifty years doing a job SHE never wanted! A job she watched kill her father. She's executed it with honor, dignity, and, as far as I can tell, without a single blemish, and now we're all baying for her blood! All because she's struggling to lead the world in mourning for someone who... who threw everything she offered back in her face. And who, for the last few years, seemed committed 24/7 to destroying everything she holds most dear!
