People will not see many things clearly from the beginning, including themselves and love.
I think both of them are lucky in the film, they both felt vaguely problematic before marriage, and both were able to sense their emotions, which I think is good. It may take many years for many people to realize something, or even a lifetime to realize who they really are.
They were so lucky that they both cared about each other at the right time and were willing to work hard to find each other, so the final outcome was very happy.
I just think people as lucky as them are in the minority.
