The plot is really very old-fashioned. For a so-called romantic relationship, it takes great pains to break up two pairs of lovers who are about to get married. The last escape from marriage, and then meet the person you want, typical American thinking, love is supreme.
However, that sentence in the salad yard still hit me. "The reason why you don't want to stand there is because of a fate many years ago, or is it just because you don't want to stand there?"
Sometimes, we are constantly chasing something, maybe not for the pursuit, but just to escape from reality.
