I just brushed this 2015 animation today. I saw that many people in the comments said that the painting style of the dinosaur family was not good and the plot was too simple, so I decided to write a short review. First of all, the male protagonist A Luo in the movie has a lot of shadows of himself. A Luo is just like when he was a student, even now, he is soft-hearted, afraid of many things, and even cowardly. The reason for his true strength is his father's separation. Go (Father looked at A Luo affectionately before being swept away by the torrent, couldn't help tearing up).
A Luo's family is happy. Mom and Dad try their best to take care of the children, so A Luo did not grow up. He was timid and cowardly, and was laughed at by his brother. After losing his father and getting caught on a cliff again, everything changed. I met the "Diandian" who once held grudges, the pterosaurs who frantically preyed in the rainstorm, and the Tyrannosaurus Rex family who ran for survival. From Dad Tyrannosaurus: "You can't get rid of your fear, but you can overcome it and you'll discover who you really are."
With the wide angle of the male protagonist, A Luo did it, defeated the pterosaurs alone, rescued Dian Dian in the torrent, and finally, helped Dian Dian find his family, and he would also go to his mother and siblings. Dad is gone, but Arlo is strong and no longer afraid.
When my mother saw Arlo come back, "Henry?" (Dinosaur dad's name) was a little tearful. Yes, little Arlo grew up. Just like his father, he was a dinosaur on his own. In the end, the family hugged and cried, which was a happy ending.
Growth is my greatest insight. We all cannot escape. We grew up so caught off guard. There is no escape, fear is useless, we just try to face it. Has been extremely strong.
(Personal opinion, don't spray if you don't like it!)
