dark

It's a really dark film, I wonder if the director just wanted to tell a piece of history?

Parents and elders, under the guise of family interests, sacrificed the younger generation of

sisters, in order to compete for favor of the king, and each other did not let the

king love the queen, love the sister, and love the sister after loving the sister

. Queen Elizabeth I is still a very powerful queen. England paid a lifetime of painstaking efforts and never married. But what does this Queen's prequel want to tell us?

Away from kings, powers? Don't get distracted by short-term benefits? Pursuing personal life rather than so-called family interests? .....

The peace of the common people is a mediocre level, a mediocre truth.

The Other Boleyn Girl quotes

  • Anne Boleyn: Henry Percy

George Boleyn: [Teasingly] Why ever would he interest you? What could you possibly want with the sole heir to the richest earldom in the whole of England?

Anne Boleyn: [Jokingly] Oh I have no knowledge of that! I simply like his face!

    George Boleyn: Well, he's betrothed

Anne Boleyn: Betrothed is not married. It's a long journey from bended knee to the altar.

  • Sir Thomas Boleyn: Easy for you to say! You've had position and wealth all your life!

Lady Elizabeth: Until I married you, Thomas, and I was happy to give it all for love.
