The download doesn't have Chinese subtitles, not even English subtitles. With my poor English level, it took a whole hour and fifty minutes to get through it. I practiced my English listening hard, but I also watched the plot I devoured the dates whole, and I got a rough idea. The film involves some British history. Generally speaking, it is the subject of court favor. It is a story of two sisters in order to gain the favor of the king, just like the two sisters Zhao Feiyan of the Han Dynasty in the history of our country. The most annoying thing about the film is that women fall out of favor as soon as they become pregnant. Even if they give birth to a child, the king does not look at it, as if someone is a wild species. It may be that the relationship between the British royal family is very chaotic, and there was no DNA technology at that time. Not sure whose child it is. So ANN came up with the bad idea of lending seeds, and he was still his own brother, and it was only natural that he was eventually convicted of incest and beheaded. The film is mainly about three women, two sisters and their mother, Ann (Natalie Portman), Mary (Scarlett Johansson), Lady Elizabeth (Krinstin Scott-Thomas). Portman and Johnson belong to the rising stars, and Thomas belongs to the past season actresses. I just watched "The English Patient", and I have a lot of aftertaste for Thomas's performance. After watching this film, I was a little disappointed. The Patient" was filmed 12 years ago. In 12 years, a person turned into a yellow flower in the sunset. He wandered in the second line and became a dispensable little character. Not as good.
