The film tells the story of the brave and kind King Baahubali and his son Shiva, who fight against the evil brother (uncle) Bahara Radwa for control of the kingdom of Moses Shimodi. The film is divided into two episodes. The first episode "Baahubali: Beginning" will be released on July 22. The next episode is expected to be released in India by the end of this year. In order to put the legendary life of King Baahubali on the big screen, SS-Rajamuri led his team to spend two and a half years in this grand masterpiece that combines mythology, war, love, palace fighting and other elements. It took nearly 400 days to film the script, costumes and art design in Hyderabad's Cinema City, and the key battle scenes involved 2,000 extras and took 120 days to complete. After the film was released, it has created a box office success of 6 billion rupees (about 90 million US dollars), creating a local box office myth in India.
