One day prisoner of the soul

A friend who doesn't watch horror movies recommended this movie to me.
When I was watching it at home alone, I thought it was a prank by a friend at first, because the picture in front had a little horror movie atmosphere, and I kept imagining what kind of a dark and wet ghost would pop up behind this group of people, but nothing happened. Happened~ After seeing it, I was sure that it was a very positive suspense film. Not violent or bloody.
The look on Jess's face when he got on the boat reminded me of Isabella's terrified face from beginning to end in Twilight. . Only later did I understand the origin of it~
After clarifying my thoughts, I found that the movie was quite exciting.
Jess's soul has been sentenced to death. Although she struggled to break free again and again, and realized some of her previous mistakes in the process, she wanted to be reborn, but God refused to give her a chance, and everything was irreparable. Because she has been unwilling to bow her head to this unchangeable judgment, she has become a one-day prisoner, endlessly circulating in the world of her thoughts, repeatedly experiencing painful torment, but she is never reconciled. This is the reality... She will never May fulfill her promise to the taxi driver (Death), so this cycle cannot end.
A few conclusions:
1. Don't mess with children, cherish the food around you.
2. Don't make promises casually, especially in the face of powerful facts and forces.
3. A person's biggest enemy is always himself, but even if he overcomes himself, he is not necessarily successful.
4. Destiny is too difficult to rewrite, there is no way to find an exit, and no matter how many times you eat, you will not be able to reincarnate in a nightmare.
5. Be kind to others, liberate innocent people, and give your soul a relief.

  • Victor: [shocked to see Jess] How did you get here so fast?

Jess: [frantic] Victor you gotta listen to me. We don't have much time.

Victor: Whoa whoa what's going on? Where's Greg?

    Jess: He's dead.

    Victor: What?

Jess: No no I mean he was dead

    Victor: What are you saying?

Jess: Downstairs right now is a copy of myself. Me! Walking and talking with Greg.

  • Victor: [pointing at a picture of the ship] Check it out. This is the same ship. This thing's old.

Downey: Yeah, 1932. It is the same. Here's where we boarded.

Victor: [reads name of the ship] Aeolus.

Downey: Aeolus. Aeolus was the Greek god of the winds and the father of Sisyphus, the man condemned by the gods to the task of pushing a rock up a mountain only to have it roll back down again.

Victor: That's a shitty punishment. What did he do?

Sally: He cheated Death. No, he made a promise to Death that he didn't keep.
