"Bad films make people despise the screenwriter's IQ, and good films make people doubt their own IQ", and this film is undoubtedly the latter.
First of all, I disapprove of the translation of triangle into a horror cruise ship. Personally, I think this is the most unprofessional translation. After watching the movie, I think that the literal translation of triangle is the simplest but most accurate.
Given the title of the film, the first impression is that a bunch of young men and women go to sea to play, encounter ghost ships, etc., and then die one after another, but this movie can be said to have no routines at all. On the contrary, I need to watch this film more than twice, plus seven or eight film reviews to perceive its essence. Most of the brain-burning films can get points at one time.
The talented screenwriter and director designed every detail of the film to have a story. Under the big circular story, there are also the words of the rental heroine and the fairy tale fable of the son of death, the house number and the number of the cruise ship, the son's toy boat and the boat ride. The appearance, the drums in the banquet hall and the drums of the death scene, the blood on the hostess' head, the music played on the cruise and the music of the pedestrians heard by the hostess in the car, the seagulls, the watch, and the perspective of boarding the cruise, etc. It's all designed, and the most admirable thing is that this movie shows half of the cycle, and the other half of the events are just fragmentary shots, which is amazing.
