Actually a good movie

The 2014 epic disaster film "The Last Days of Pompeii" tells the story of a disaster in Pompeii, an Italian city, that was suddenly erupted by a Mount Vesuvius that had not erupted for more than a thousand years, engulfing the entire city overnight. On the Internet, the reputation is very poor, even 90% of people are criticizing the film, and the box office in North America is also very low, and the original production cost has not been recovered at all. But after watching it tonight, I felt that I had to defend this film and watch it with the mood of a bad film. It turned out unexpectedly that I found out that it was actually a very good film. First, at least I was nervous watching it. Second, the scenes and special effects are absolutely shocking. The scenes of volcanic eruptions and sea inversions are completely unimaginable. If you watch them in theaters, I don’t know how impactful they will be. Third, many people care about the plot and say how messy it is, but think about the previous "Hercules" and other similar works, and think about the bad domestic films, and you will know that this is already the best. Therefore, not to mention its plot, not to mention its editing, just to say its special effects, it is definitely Hollywood's first-class technology, creating a tragic disaster, and in the end no one survived. As much as I can say about this film, I have to criticize it harshly on two counts: First, there are a few points in the plot that are too out of character, even if only from a viewing point of view. Secondly, and the most complained about is that the heroine is a princess, she is too unattractive, and she is too ugly to directly look at her. Even the maid is much prettier than her.
