Love is sometimes a product of no choice

Life is sometimes unexpected. For example, today I was just going to the client's trip, but I stopped by the wind lotus garden for a cup of coffee. It doesn't matter if I go, a Harman Kardon speaker in the cafe attracted me to watch half of the movie. As you might expect, the emotions I'm going to send today are all caused by this half of "The Last Day of Pompeii".

I don’t know if it’s easier to resonate with disaster films when I’m hungry. The tragic massacre at the beginning of the film and the appearance of the male protagonist who survived a few years later are both shocking and amazing. The problem is that it is impossible for me to sit in a non-theater environment for 1 hour and 50 minutes with a cup of coffee and a plate of French fries in order to watch a movie, not to mention the long-coveted Nana home kitchen food, so I decisively abandoned the dark and turned to the light, and At this time, the heroine just appeared.

After I had eaten and drank enough, I went home, and then I watched half of the movie, and found that the movie was highly consistent with my state, and it suddenly evolved from a struggle for survival to a spiritual pursuit, from a disaster movie to a love movie. And I, until the subtitles appeared, did not understand how love came.

This is a romance film that combines the plots of "Gladiator", "Titanic", "2012", etc. The disaster is just the background. And I seem to have passed the age of advocating love, in short, the love in the film did not impress me at all. The hatred for the second male lead who robbed the heroine, and the nervousness about praying for the hero and heroine to escape as soon as the volcano erupted. I don't have any emotional scenes at all, but I am more worried about a horse that feels agitated and frantic as it perceives the disaster. Fundamentally, I don't love the male protagonist. I don't think he is a hero in the eyes of the female protagonist, which can bring her a sense of security, and I don't like the female protagonist. Although, in all fairness, the male protagonist's stubborn and melancholy Yan and Kong Wu's strong muscles are really good.

My sweetheart is an unparalleled hero, and one day he will come to marry me on a colorful auspicious cloud. I guessed the beginning, but I guessed the ending wrong. The male protagonist of Pompeii, he survived the disaster of the genocide, and among a group of gladiators, his fighting power topped the table, and he was able to beat a hundred enemies. Although he was in prison, he looked down on everyone. When Pompeii arrived, he was still strong in body but weak in heart, just waiting for the death of the gladiator. After hundreds of battles, he has been out of the siege again and again, but before the real warrior appeared, he was only brave without fear of blood, whipping, battle and death. And all of these are just numbness because of being bound by iron chains, never wanting to break free and challenge to fight to resist, as if fate just has no choice but to die in glorious battle. It was not until I met the genocide enemy and heard about the black comrades who preached freedom that the battle had some meaning. And love is the only light that can come into contact in life.

I suspect that what the heroine liked at first sight was his handsome face and muscles, and goodbye was still for his majestic appearance itself. After seeing a lot of those old-fashioned and hypocritical aristocrats, a down-to-earth handsome man with a masculine scent is undoubtedly cute. For the male protagonist, it is useless to refuse the self-introduction of an elegant and beautiful noble lady. Anyway, he was born with nothing to worry about, and as a slave, he does not even own his life. The love at first sight between two people who had no better choice suddenly turned into a vigorous life-and-death love. Forgive my inability to accept. If the two of them are a little happy about the development of the rivers and lakes after riding their horses and galloping freely, they don't have to work together to overthrow the rotten enemies (love), even if they only have a relative affectionate kiss with four eyes, it's better to have a limited level, I can empathize with me. Feel more comfortable and agree more. In the end, all of this has to be attributed to the fact that our male protagonist is not brave enough, and he is also worried that the family of the female protagonist, who is about to become a Weng-in-law relationship, will be mutilated. Well, if I like it, it means wanton love or restraint. So even if I finally turned back and bravely saved the princess, I felt that it was a sense of responsibility and mission from a kind person, coupled with the heroic complex of saving the crisis, it really has nothing to do with love.

The real hero is undoubtedly the black man who fights against the evil forces to the end, not to die, but not to be a slave, but to be free. The hatred for the Romans is etched in the bone marrow and runs in the blood. After recognizing their ugly face, they rise up to resist. They will cut off the chains and run towards the port. Even in the face of murder, brutality and bloodthirsty, they will flee in a hurry. The children who fell at times have never lost their compassion and kindness. When I saw his last bloodshot eyes with cracked teeth and bloodshot eyes, his face burst into a ghastly face, and I felt that there were thousands of emotions surging in his heart of greatness and tragedy. He stood and roared, finally belonging to himself at the moment of death. He is a hero and a victor, an upright gentleman, a loyal and generous brother. He has won championships and friends on the road of pursuing freedom, but there is no love. Probably because it looks so ugly.
