Before the end, let love live forever

Knowing the ancient city of Pompeii is related to a little story. I remember when I read an article saying that in the buried ancient city ruins, the remains of a standing big dog were found, and under the big dog was the remains of a young child. It must be the moment when the god of death came, this loyal big dog used his body to protect the little master under him.

When I saw the trailer of "The Last Day of Pompeii" in the theater half a month ago, I decided to watch this movie. But after the official release, he hesitated due to the unenthusiastic audience's response. But in the end, I went to the theater, so I didn't miss this movie that I liked.

Yes, I like it because I see what I want to see from this movie.

"The Last Day of Pompeii" is a rare costume disaster film among disaster films, and it is the ending of total destruction. Before the official release, when I was chatting with my friends, I laughed and said, "How do you play this? Quanxie? Or should the two protagonists not die?"

The disaster film of Quanxie, I only remember "The Prophet", but that one gave I was so impressed that I watched a disaster movie after watching it, and while I was concentrating on waiting for "total extinction", I actually got out of the danger and calmed down, and I couldn't react for a while.

Although "The Last Day of Pompeii" is also a movie with love as the main line, it is different from "Titanic" in the past in that it has another line that is not light, and even heavier in my opinion, that is "free". Revenge is the lightest.

Milo has experienced a great change since he was a child. His parents and clansmen died tragically, and he became a slave. Every day, he earned his life in the bloody arena, and he earned every piece of it. The adult Milo who appeared on the stage was agile and even cruel, and he didn't even have much "liveness" in his eyes. He was a "dead man" in another sense. Even the salvation of the wounded horse is accomplished by destruction. Taken back to Pompeii, he was near death, but before the real death came, he lived!

It was two people, or two feelings, that made Milo come alive. One is love and the other is friendship. Cassia and Milo are actually very similar. They both have a kind of rebelliousness in their bones, and they also have a kind of longing. Similar people will definitely be attracted at the first time. And the black warrior warmed Milo with friendship. From the very beginning of confrontation to knowing each other and helping each other, the two people support each other in life and death.

The 3D effect of the whole movie is very impressive, and the scene of the volcanic eruption at the end is quite atmospheric. Such a kind of rage in the world, the despair of the gods closing their eyes, even if they are off the screen, they can feel it. Although the role of Cassia is not my favorite, I still like the character of Cassia very much. At the last moment, Milo wanted to let his sweetheart continue to escape, but Cassia wanted to stay and spend the last time staring and kissing with his lover. Living together and dying together, Qianqiu's condensed image makes this love immortal in the years.

When you watch a movie, you still have to feel it yourself. Other people's feelings can never be equal to your own. Therefore, this movie with an average score of only 6.5 is worth 7.5 for me. During

the filming process, the one around me is more depressed. A couple (or a young couple) sat on each side. At the beginning, it was the man on the right. It was like watching a TV series at his own house. Almost every episode had to be commented on. He was giggling in the silent theater, but then he was silent. In the last 20 minutes or so, the boy on my left played the role of the plot previewer. He said there, "The next step is to leave, and then the two of them will fight each other to the death... The BOSS will definitely have a duel with the male protagonist... If he doesn't die, he will wait for another strike... Except for the male and female protagonists, all of them will die in the end... "In the end, when the ending was all over, he shut up...

  • Atticus: It is the gods. They have a plan for us all.

Milo: Perhaps. I saw the man who killed my family. Perhaps the gods spared me for a reason.

  • Cassia: Too many arrogant men who flatter you with their presence.
