This is a very shocking historical disaster film. With the eruption of Mount Vesuvius as the background of the story, it re-presents the Pompeii style, political struggle and natural disasters of the year. When you mention ancient Rome, you will unconsciously associate it. to the gladiatorial arena, and the gladiatorial scenes in this film are as good as the soundtrack.
After watching this movie, I can only feel that everyone is insignificant in the face of natural disasters, no matter the good or the bad, the consequences of volcanic eruptions are not only the lava, mudslides, etc. you think, but also Flowing deadly gases, volcanic tsunamis, and more.
Naturally, there is still precious love in this film. I won't reveal the process. The male protagonist (Kit Harington) has a great figure. There are wonderful performances. The heroine (Emily Jane Browning) actually played the doll in (Pretty Girl Commando), and I didn't recognize it for a while.
Digression: I don't know if you have seen it (Warehouse No. 13), you will notice that Proculus, the person beside "Rome Senator", is played by actor Sasha Roiz, very, very stylish.
