The truth is often the most inconspicuous one

Uncle Nissen, as always, interprets the image of a tough guy in my heart.

The plot of "Commuter Rescue" was basically filmed on that train. Compared with this show, I still prefer his "Hurricane Rescue" series of movies.

The plot is relatively simple, but the process is really brain-burning. Only one of the many passengers who got off at Lengquan Station needs protection. The process of guessing is very troublesome, but the final outcome is not difficult to predict, but most people are preconceived. .

An emotionally out-of-control nurse, a pompous gold-collar man, a punk chick dressed in fashion, a middle-aged uncle playing poker, only one of them is a witness who needs to be protected. Which one is that?

Everyone who has seen it is thinking, but they have racked their brains to think and can't get an answer. Everything is just performed from Michael's point of view.

But what if it was the other way around?

Just think about it: an eyewitness whose colleague was thrown out of the window by the gangsters pretended that a murder did not lead to suicide, and he was in danger of being killed at any time because he saw it. What should he do on this bus? Is it the expression of losing control with the mobile phone; or dressing up as a punk to attract attention; or dressing neatly and looking down on everyone in the car; no, according to the logic of normal people, it should be the more inconspicuous the dress, the better the appearance. The better the transparent person, the better they can protect themselves in an unobtrusive way, so from a political point of view, it is easier to find witnesses - that Piper who has not spoken all the time comes into view, the one who is a little cowardly or even timid Pop; a Piper who doesn't want to attract attention.

Why not in real life? People are used to thinking about problems from their own perspective, but they forget that the truth of the matter is actually that simple.

The Commuter quotes

  • Michael MacCauley: So, I heard something earlier today, a hypothetical question.

Tony: Uh-huh. What was the question?

Michael MacCauley: What if someone asked you to do one little thing, something that's meaningless to you, but would affect another passenger on this train? Would you do it?

Tony: I don't know. What's in it for me?

    Michael MacCauley: $100,000.

    Tony: Absolutely!

Michael MacCauley: You don't even know what it is.

Tony: It doesn't matter. Come on.

Jackson: So, what is that one little thing?

Michael MacCauley: A passenger on this train doesn't belong. They're carrying a bag, but you don't know what it looks like. All you have to do is find them before they get off.

Tony: That's it? It's not much to go on, Mike.

Michael MacCauley: Tell me about it.

Jackson: And what happens when you find 'em?

    Michael MacCauley: They die. Hypothetically.

Tony: So what would you do, Mike?

Michael MacCauley: I'd get all the people left on the train in one car, propose that very scenario.

Tony: No, no, no, no, no. I mean, would you take the money?

Michael MacCauley: You know what? I already did.

  • Tony: Hey, Mike, what happened to the guy with the guitar?

    Michael MacCauley: He got off.

[Tony looks around, confused, knowing the train is just pulling into the station]
