The most overlooked masterpiece in recent years!

I'm a little disappointed with the director. I've never seen someone's second work so much better than the first. Although the professional reviews of the film are mediocre, the audience's reputation is surprisingly good. The box office was bleak when it was released. I hope that when the disc is sold, it will sell more, at least for the director to get some opportunities to continue working.

A friend said that in addition to the cover of this film from Dali's paintings, many of the scenes also came from his works. The Prophet's "Resurrection" and the wedding scene also appeared in the famous nature photo shoot Baraka.

I think the film itself is somewhat similar to Pan's Labyrinth, but it's not as dark, although it's dark enough... The performance of the 5-year-old girl is a highlight. She allegedly mistakenly thought that the male protagonist was paralyzed in both legs during the trial shooting, so the director decided to hide the truth from the entire crew that he could actually walk. So it can be said that many of her performances are simply true reflections.

    Alexandria: [confused] ... angry people.
