In House of Flying Daggers, I don't actually feel that there is any plot worth remembering in this movie. I do feel that there is nothing outstanding about the plot, but it is very classic to me, because I didn't understand the aesthetics of movies before this. Concept, the part of this movie Zhang Niangniang playing the drum is really beautiful, it was really shocking when I first watched it. But later films, including Zhang Yimou's own golden armor all over the city, seem to have done it because he tasted the benefits. The whole film is full of money and wealth, and it feels inferior.
