Falling in love is easy and staying together is difficult - I watch "BJ's Single Diary 2: The Edge of Reason"

Reading fairy tales when I was a child, I probably remember that the ending of the story came to an abrupt end when the princess and the prince lived happily ever after. That may be because of the legendary story, can not be contaminated with a moment of worldly oil, salt, sauce and vinegar. After all, falling in love is easier than being together.
A sequel to this thing is really hard to come by. For fans, it is natural to look forward to it; and for professional commentators, it might be a continuation of the dog's tail. Of course, because of some kind of complex, I still watch "BJ2" with relish, and have watched it more than once, although the general opinion is that "BJ2" is much worse than "BJ1".
Not too much spoilers here. I just want to say two clips that I feel moved.
One is that Bridget was in prison. Mark went to see her. He obviously did a lot for her, and he had a thousand words to say, but Mark still pretended to be indifferent, so the self-improving Bridger also swallowed it. The truth that I wanted to reveal. At that moment, the familiar anger suddenly came one after another. Later, after returning to the cell, when chatting with her fellow prisoners about each other's boyfriends, Bridget suddenly realized that the man she had abandoned had never done anything wrong to her. Many things, only when they are lost will they suddenly realize the preciousness they once had.
The other is that after learning the truth, Bridget couldn't wait to get dressed up to win Mark's heart, but was wet twice by the water splashed by the car at the door of the courthouse. But she shook her hair, wearing that wet dress, and still stepped in so confidently. And in the face of a room of powerful people, she was still able to speak her mind bravely. I really admire such a brave woman. That bravery may come from her self-confidence and her deep love for Mark.
The fact is that the probability of meeting a perfect man like Mark in this society is lower than picking up a valuable diamond ring on the road; but it is still very possible to fall in love with a better man. So even if it is more difficult to stay together after falling in love, even if there are too many temptations in this flowery world, we should stay with this man well.
Fortunately, although the appearance is natural, but a woman's self-confidence and wisdom can be cultivated the day after tomorrow. In any case, what we need is to always maintain a sharp, brave, and sincere heart, believe in yourself, take care of yourself, and cherish the most important person in your life.

The fight was really laughable, CF has all kinds of praises! Although he has played Darcy three times, it seems that he will play a fourth time... If I do make a third film, I will review the first two first and then watch it again.

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason quotes

  • Mark Darcy: And this is Horatio...

    Bridget Jones: Horatio?

    Mark Darcy: Yes, Horatio.

  • Bridget Jones: I read that you should never go out with someone if you can think of three reasons why you shouldn't.

Mark Darcy: And can you think of three?

    Bridget Jones: Yes.

    Mark Darcy: Which are?

Bridget Jones: First off, I embarrass you. I can't ski, I can't ride, I can't speak Latin , my legs only come up to here and yes I will always be just a little bit fat. And you, you fold your underpants before you go to bed!

Mark Darcy: No, hang on! That-that can't be a reason.

Bridget Jones: No, it's not a reason! But you're not perfect either! You look down your nose at absolutely everyone and you're incapable of doing anything spontaneous or potentially affectionate.

    [pause]

Bridget Jones: It feels like you're waiting to find someone in the VIP room who's- who's so fantastic, just the way she is, that you don't need to fix her.

Mark Darcy: Bridget, this is mad.

Bridget Jones: And perhaps you thought you found her.

    [long pause]

Bridget Jones: Do you *want* to marry me?

    [awkward silence]

    Mark Darcy: Look- I...

Bridget Jones: You see, you can never muster the strength, to fight for me.

[long silence. Mark opens his mouth and closes it again. Bridget walks out]
