"Swiss Army Knife Man" is an absurd comedy. In the film, through the excellent vocal music, tone contrast, picture upgrade, etc., it shows the combination of life and death, the material world and the spiritual world, the reality and the illusory. It's all condensed into Hank and Manny's jungle tour. The whole film is absurd and has a little warmth at the same time, but the casual humor reveals the core theme. In the process of Hank completing a self-redemption, it expounds the difference between people before and after taking off the mask, and reflects the two sides of people. The vocal music in the film is an extremely active component. At the same time, the vocal music should enhance the rendering power of the picture, and also express the subtle emotional changes of the characters. When Hank was dragged away by the raccoon but Manny was unable to rescue, the mournful and long voice gradually weakened, and then the music when Manny spontaneously ignited and chased away the raccoon gradually became stronger. The change of music intensity implies Hank's struggle in life and death, and at the same time amplifies the complex psychological changes of the characters, and also shows two different forms of a person facing problems, one is succumbing to reality and the other is constantly struggling. . At the end, Manny drifted to the depths of the ocean in the cheerful and imposing music. The ingenious combination of sound and picture showed Hank's joy in finally integrating the appearance of the previous and the later. The cheerful soundtrack not only fills the audience with energy, but also makes the film's slightly sad ending all the more poignant. A lot of vocal music runs throughout, making the mood of the film a little bit deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. The appearance of repeated scenes promotes the development of the plot, completes the portrayal of Hank's image, and forms the role of emphasizing the scene. The segment where Hank recalls the bus scene is repeated, but not for long each time. The director reused this bland scene to form an appearance of Hank's desire for his goddess, giving the scene a romantic sense of idol drama. A clip of Hank and Manny recreating the bus scene in the jungle, Hank earnestly reenacting the love that his heart desires most for Sarah. The camera magnifies the hilarity of their actions, but also brings out the softest side of Hank's heart for Sarah. The repetition of the bus scene was romanticized by the director, making Hank's behavior a natural expression of emotion. Hank admits that he farts, that is, he has the courage to face the world and presents his truest self after taking off his mask. There may be real and illusory existence between Hank and Manny. Manny comes and goes from the sea to the sea, but he can't take away the sadness of reality. In an absurd form, the film deeply analyzes the duality of human beings for the audience. In the film, Manny, as an almighty person, is like an all-purpose knife. Combined with the change of tone, the replacement of music penetrates the audience's already numb inner world, and re-examines human nature with self-knowledge.
