"Swiss Army Knife Man" is probably the best movie I've seen in 2019, so I want to write a movie review seriously and responsibly.
At the beginning of the story, the male protagonist, Hank, was on a deserted island and had no hope of asking for help. In desperation, he decided to hang himself and was washed ashore by the waves. He escaped from the deserted island with Hank and rushed to the coast of the mainland. The first scene of the film really "surprised" me. Yesterday's Harry Potter turned out to be a vulgar comedy. It's so sad.
But I was wrong. Hank, the protagonist of the second act, continued to find his way home in the mainland. On the way, Hank found that this "corpse" could speak, supply water, shave, and give directions. The Swiss Army Knife of Human Flesh, Hank is not idle, while doing etiquette learning for Manny (it's very shameful and impolite to fart in public), while recovering the memory of the past for Manny, and using garbage to build Hank's own bits and pieces , On the bus, I met Sarah, the girl I was excited about, had dinner with Sarah, watched a movie and participated in a crazy party. . . . Hank also regained hope with joy again and again, and the friendship between the two gradually deepened.
In the third act, Hank and Manny are getting closer and closer to the crowded places. The cell phone with no signal also has a signal. This is Hank, taking advantage of the spare time to pee, to watch the exciting girl Sarah's social networking site. La has a lover, which is like a thunderbolt on Hank's head. It is also this scene that clarifies the thinking of the whole movie. The two directors' capture of the flashback shots and expressions are vividly displayed in this scene. The writer's conception of lines is also sublimated in this scene.
In the last scene, they unintentionally came to the yard of Sarah's house. When they met Sarah's daughter, Manny farted at will. The little girl thought Manny's behavior was disgusting. Sarah appeared, and the feeling of "shame" rushed over. Over the head, which made Manny die again, Hank ended up with Sarah's help, but everyone thought he was crazy, (Sarah found the life scene he had made and ran away with the body), when Hank Manny's fart sounded again as he stood on the beach, and Manny set sail again.
This is an extremely absurd low-budget movie, but it is definitely a good movie you don't have to miss. What the movie wants to convey is that life is always bound by other constraints, just like Hank endured farting, and deep down I still want to release it, but this goes against my inner self and becomes him in the eyes of others. In shame, he was willing to take a step back and resisted to release his truest self. At the end of the film, Hank released his long-endured fart. Although everyone showed weird eyes, he really became himself.
