Swiss Army Man is neither my movie list nor recommended by others, just a curiosity about the "Dead Man" movie with hc.
In fact, recently, I was addicted to filter-refreshing movies, which suddenly made me accept this style of painting. WTF kept telling myself throughout the whole process that there is nothing to focus on, and that these things that make me nauseous are meaningful and acceptable. No, I can not. But even if I can't, I lament these seemingly incomprehensible things, and I'm slowly letting them in. After reading a quick note, I want to re-explain a few words in the film with my own understanding.
Corpses and farts: The knowledge of corpses is pitiful, so I was confused at the beginning, and I thought a thousand words in my heart, "lhc, if this movie is not good, you will be good!" Even though I knew from the beginning that this must have a metaphor or an unpredictable trend, I was still curious whether this Hank died or not. When BUS came along, I thought it wasn't so important to die or not.
Masturbation: I wasn't surprised when the movie started popularizing, but what struck me was that it also had a direction function. The term is unusual in the movie because it connects the perceptions and consensus between parents and children. In the movie, Hank told Sarah about the Manny masturbate, which was the second time the movie touched me. Hank said I don't know what is the masturbation or what it feels like but I believe that ... it's like a breeze in the hair I used to tell my friends about pleasure and orgasm in my daily life, and all of a sudden it was explained very clearly, and my scalp was tingling again.
BUS: The first thing that struck me about this movie was the first experience of BUS that Manny created for Hank. In fact, Manny's full image on the bus appears many times, expounding on his own humanity. The moment I put on the headphones for Hank, I also had the idea of "wanting to ride the bus for the rest of my life", and that journey was the climax.
Swiss Army Knife and Tool Man: hc asked me: "Brother Shu, can you watch the Swiss Army Knife Man?" I thought, I don't want to watch war movies. Encyclopedia of the Swiss Army Knife, it turned out to be a tool that my grandfather used to repair when he was a child. As for the tool people in the whole film, I suspect that the source of high-frequency words in modern society has finally been found. After unlocking the tool man, I began to respect the director's imagination, and I wanted to ask: Doesn't my mouth hurt? If a society consists of two people, Manny and Hank, then Hank should be the material foundation, but it will continue to merge in the back and slowly become a complete person.
Bears and Networks: We've always had no idea what's going on with the cacophony and shit of the forest, maybe a sneak hint of how far the audience Manny is from the real world. As soon as Manny received the signal, he immediately opened the mailbox to check the birthday card and Sarah's ins. From here, we could tell that he clearly lived in a world he knew clearly. As can be seen from Hank's reaction, whether to accept it or not is another matter.
Bridge: When Hank said something in Manny's heart but couldn't say it, it was very sharp. And then Hank started to get scared for the first time, the part where he fell into the water, I think Manny really wanted to accept himself all along. It's just that the society has given too much disapproval and cannot do it publicly.
Climbing trees and shit: I also understand that the purpose of the designation is inseparable from shit and farts. But how can they say that life is so good for everyone to be shit. When Hank began to slowly see the shadow of society on the tree, the double shadow and shock of his despair and wanting to accept himself was very good.
Kids and Dad: Sarah's kids hear Hank's stories while everyone else can only see the body of him. In the end, after being brave to be yourself, only the children and dad laughed. This feeling is very deep.
What did I say at the end: I literally died laughing at the "Hey, fuck all the straight guys" comment. Hank smiled happily.
Written at the end: in a movie experience, I can constantly let my prejudice slowly let go, and at the same time, I can feel different emotional changes. This is my high respect for this movie. I give five stars because I think this psychedelic movie can have a lot of room for imagination. My mother always said, don't waste so much time on things you don't even know about, and it's useless. I do not know either. While lamenting the movie critics of the great gods and realizing my weakness, I can't help but feel that sometimes it is difficult to grow up, and sometimes you need to give yourself a lot of time to accept and look at the world and yourself in your own way.
