The Swiss Army Knife Man

Add one star to three stars. That one star for singing and music. The musical connection in the film is wonderful, giving the whole film a tone of several grades. I always thought that Hank got lost on the uninhabited desert island of Liao, and later met Manny and turned into a lovely lunatic. I am very happy to be brainwashed by various brain holes and small philosophies.

Until Hank ran out of the back hill of the girl he had a crush on, the whole plot was reversed. The so-called "deserted island" was just an excuse for Hank to escape, and Hank was just a diaosi who liked to make excuses for escape in reality. That's it. Of course I think it's all Hank's fantasy, so I keep thinking about what happens when the truth hits Hank in the middle and late stages of the movie. The two of them were really happy when they were together, and even if that happiness was imagined, it would be equally desolate, so does the truth still matter to Hank, does Hank still need the truth? The ending proves that everything about Manny wasn't Hank's fantasy, at least not at all. I cried until Manny finally farted and ran away in a straight line.

At least in my opinion, this film stands upright, with side-points of mythology without straying too far from reality. The chemistry of a weird farting corpse and a lonely dick guy who wants to break with society romanticizes it all.

Hank hides away from the sun and is lonely, creating enough illusions for himself to saturate his cowardice and escape.

And Manny is Hank's moon in the water. Facts have proved that the moon in the water can also be floated, and Hank is also happy. And the moon has been fishing for a long time in the water, and the hands can be covered with moonlight. Life is already so difficult, don't hold back when you want to fart.

Swiss Army Man quotes

  • Hank: You just seemed really happy, and I wasn't.

  • Hank: You know... I... I had always hoped that right before I die, my life would flash before my eyes and I would see wonderful things. A life full of parties and friends, and, and how I'd learned to play the guitar, and, and maybe there'd even be a girl; but as I was hanging up there, I didn't really see much of anything, but I did see you. And I know... I know it sounds dumb, but I, I really thought for a moment that, that maybe, just maybe there was a reason that you...
