A movie that feels heavy to watch!

The title of the film "Four Hundred Blows" once left me puzzled as to what the director wanted to convey. Now I understand, but the experience of Danu has given us more than four hundred blows and more than four hundred reflections on us! A simple child, his personal experience reflects the injustice of society, the cruelty of school education, and the indifference of the family. . . .
The teacher's roar always echoed in my ears: Don't let me see you again next semester! As a teacher, it sounds so harsh to me, like a light on my back!

  • Antoine Doinel: [heard thinking aloud, as he is writing on a wall] "Here lies poor Antoine Doinel, unjustly punished by Sourpuss for a pinup fallen from the sky. It will be an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth!"
