Foster care

I happened to be involved in a project recently that aims to improve the well-being of teenagers in foster care. I want to say this movie mirrors the reality of foster children and teenagers live in.

The mental health issue of children and teenagers in foster care system is so prevalent, which is worse by their unmet basic emotional needs.
This movie makes me want to be a foster mum immediately, giving love and care for those unfortunately kids and help them heal. But I truly know it is impossible task, at least right now. And I also truly understand that more policy-level intervention should be in place.

I love this movie, I hope more and more people will watch it, and the awareness of society as a whole on the challenges of foster care kids to be refreshed.
