When I watched this film, I wanted to interpret it from many angles, from philosophy, to the future development direction of human beings, from family love to freedom, and finally I chose to give up. I just want to look at the robot from the point of view of not seeing how terrifying it is to be self-conscious and just seeing it from birth to death.
It was lucky that the family it entered was a loving family man who gave it enough authority and patient enough to teach it that he would teach it to say good night sir over and over again. Maybe because the eldest daughter made it jump out of the window or maybe it was him in my heart in the first place.
What would it be like when a robot has emotions? He will try to tell jokes, will feel the sadness of the little daughter's things being smashed and look up books for her to make some new things by himself. It grows with the family and it grows slowly too.
Time is always passing by quietly, so the little daughter has to go on the right track. When she ran down to the basement and poured out her heart to him, it might be her bravest expression, but it was also the strongest emotion he accepted, but it was not enough to understand at that time. Just a seed sprouted in his heart and will eventually grow into a towering tree in the future.
For the first time at the wedding, he put on his own clothes to see that the girl who loved him a little married someone else. His father was in tears. He felt this suffocating sadness. He said he would always be with him, but he finally regretted it. He started to want to be free. What is a robot thinking when he wants to be free? All he could do was buy a free body with all his savings. His concept of freedom was spiritual, so his father was shocked and angry and finally let him go and let him go.
After more than ten years of separation, he lived by the sea and he was still at home alone. Finally, when he died, he still went back. They held each other's hands and finally reconciled, I think.
Then he embarked on a journey to find a companion. He will also start to perceive loneliness, which is wonderful, isn't it? The heart inside the icy machine may be beating powerfully. As he walks step by step, he sees that his companion is dead or still unconscious. He may finally realize that he is unique, but loneliness also enveloped him.
He was indescribably excited when he saw the dancing female robot, but felt powerless and angry when he knew she was fake, but he met the engineer who changed his life as a robot.
