Two popes

After watching "Two popes"

Two lovely old boys with superb acting skills

Opened up a whole new world for me to appreciate - about religion.

The deep conversation between the two is very exciting

Contradictory conflict from the starting point of view

To mutual reflection, to mutual repentance

then achieve change and fusion

The last two old boys actually danced the tango

Presumably symbolizes that old and new religious ideas have finally found a way to reconcile

I feel like I'm sitting in on a theology class

It's superficial but interesting

Faith is an amazing existence

I've never been able to touch that deep feeling in my life.

Its power affects people's spiritual world and real life

"Change is not a compromise"

Because the world is not static

Don't want to be abandoned by the times, you must rethink everything and make changes

The world needs bridges, not walls

A little joke is funny:

Two seminary students, one student asked: Father, can we smoke during prayer? No, of course not, the priest said.

Another student said to his friend, bro, you are asking the wrong question, you should be asking: Is it okay to pray while smoking?

think about it:

A: Why are you so popular?

B: I'm just being myself.

A: Then why am I being myself but not popular?

ps: the electoral process of popes is really novel

The Two Popes quotes

  • Pope Francis: We need bridges, not walls.

  • Pope Benedict: We all suffer from spiritual pride. We all do. You must remember that, uh..you are not God. In God, we move, and live, and have our being. We live in God, but we are not of it. You're only human.
