At that time, everything in the world was full of hope. When Obama took office as President of the United States, the Taiwan Strait was interconnected and prosperous, and even the rainbow flag could fly behind the Pope. He naively thought that world peace and tolerance were the trend of the times.
Looking back now, I found that those few years were the best years in human history, the short-lived liberal era.
Religion means nothing to me. However, Two Popes touched me beyond religion itself, it was the fragility and brilliance of human nature.
