Daddy Woody believes in the 1 million jackpot scam. The son of failure accompanies the old alcoholic of his silent self on his 'award-winning' tour of Nebraska. They passed Hawthorne, went to the grave to see the resting old man; then, among the living relatives and old friends, in the tabloid booth by the cornfield, digging up the past of Woody's burial. A hoax is still a hoax, and a lost Woody returns home in a comforting hat. The highway to and from Nebraska was dipped into the sky, the clouds were light and the stumps were fluttering. Time never existed, Woody went from being a hero of the Korean War, into the hustle and bustle of personnel, got into the bottom of the car, repaired a broken life, and gradually became an old man who believed in the 1 million jackpot scam.
Without the trip to Nebraska, in the eyes of his son, Woody's life will always be dragged by two ends - the young alcoholic father, the old alcoholic father; those in the middle, the repetition of day and night from one end to the other, for no reason, There is no other possibility, not worth mentioning; like a fertilized egg is born here or there.

There are two most moving parts in the film: Woody lost his dentures, his son found him on the railroad tracks, Woody played a little humor and lied that it was not his own; his son bought a truck for Woody, and Woody let his son get down from the passenger seat , pretending to be driving alone through the streets of Hawthorne Town, in awe of everyone's astonishment.
