Roger Ebert once said, "We need to cherish those experiences, those first encounters with the greatest film in film history." Yesterday, "Witness for the Prosecution" gave me this experience: after watching the film In the process, I regained the long-lost excitement, surprise, excitement and emotion when I came across a good movie. At that moment, as a movie fan, I was happy.

There is no doubt that "The Witness for the Prosecution" is a great work from a great director. Whether it is form or content, the film has made the wonderful and interesting to the extreme. The film is a perfect blend of suspense and humor, and audiences who were able to watch this film in person in the cinema were undoubtedly lucky and happy. In contrast, most movies today can only be relentlessly classified as humourless, insincere and innovative, sleazy junk.

It is hard to imagine that if Billy Wilder was not the director of "Witness for the Prosecution", then the ubiquitous wit, humor and wisdom that flow from the bones in the film can still be seen from every action, every sentence of the characters. The lines come out so naturally.

This film beautifully tells a story full of justice and strength, and clearly advocates a pure and noble value. The greatest significance of this film is that it shows the pride that the seventh art of film can achieve High and amazing achievements.

Whether it's characterful characters, twists and turns, witty lines and terrific storytelling, Wilder's films often have the magic to capture audiences within the first five minutes. Rather than saying that this is Billy Wilder's extraordinary talent, it is better to say that many years of experience in the film industry have made him well acquainted with the essence of film technology and art. It is believed that viewers who have watched this film will have infinite respect for the defense lawyer Sir Wilfred of the defendant, and even fall in love with this self-proclaimed "cunning, selfish, mean and vicious, tobacco and alcohol-loving nuisance". In fact, the film features multiple memorable characters, each so distinctive and lifelike.

The climax is no longer enough to describe the wonderful and outstanding "Witness for the Prosecution". In fact, in the closing paragraph of the film, my mouth was open for a while because of shock. Billy Wilder gave this story an aftertaste. Ending infinity, "The balance of justice may occasionally tip, but it will eventually return to balance". When you walk out of the theater after watching the movie, in addition to sincerely admiring the wonderfulness of the movie, you will also develop a heartfelt love and respect not only for the characters in the play, but also for the movie itself.

Just as the proposal made after the film ended, "In order to ensure that audiences who have not seen this film can enjoy more viewing pleasure, please do not reveal the secret of the ending of "The Witness for the Prosecution" to them." What is the secret? It's up to you to find out. Even if you know this secret after watching the movie, when you watch "The Witness for the Prosecution" again, it can still bring you another completely different kind of movie viewing pleasure.

Looking at my personal movie reviews, it's very rare to give a full score to a movie, yet Witness for the Prosecution ranks among the greatest movies in my opinion even before I've seen it.

This article is a tribute to Billy Wilder and Witness for the Prosecution, a tribute to a great filmmaker and a great film.
