It's a wonderful arrangement to have Jazz's wife play the nurse, and the pairing of the two is fantastic.
Dietrich is like living to 56 for this scene, not only does she not look like a 56-year-old woman, but when her tough face is cracked by the evidence of the Jazz, she yells damn you, damn you, absolutely ok Forever in history. If most of the play is Sir Laughton's perfect performance, the last 30 minutes are Dietrich's mythical performance. When hearing that girl say you are older than him, her face is so vivid.
