I have thought a lot about it, especially at the moment when there are many social problems in China and the pressure to survive is huge. Just a few days ago, I told my roommate that in China, honest labor can't get basic living conditions, we can only immigrate. Just last week, I was furious at my colleague's perfunctory misunderstanding and the silence of other colleagues, and the people around me said that it is normal to work in a Chinese unit without communication and irresponsibility. I seem like an alien. When I came back that day, I changed everyone's signature to "There is no essential difference between connivance and evil. If everyone is prudent to protect themselves, it is really sad. If you should stand up to resist unreasonable phenomena, you must stand up. Where are the responsible and bloody people?" Go?!" There was no reply, but the signatures of those who were me and my friends were replying. Originally, I didn't have a good impression of Renren. Now, I have firmed up my opinion. I don't think anyone would recommend it there.
Facing the cruel social reality, can we choose anything other than immigration, joining interest groups, swallowing our voices and condoning silence? I once had a dispute with a girl about joining an interest group. No matter if I was in a shopping mall at the time, I was still very excited to retort: "I will never join an interest group! I would rather be a poor man than a rich man who occupies other people's interests! "The girl later married someone in the interest group, and her current husband laughed at her for working hard and paying little money. After I heard it, I directly laughed at him for being idle and taking money. Sadly, many girls yearn for such jobs or people. There are only a few people who dare to speak at work. Most of them will only follow orders and dare not insist on what is correct. This is a failure of Chinese education, and many colleagues who dare to speak come back from abroad. This is the reality of China that I feel, the reality that I want to escape, a country where ordinary people have no right to speak and human rights, a country where complaints are everywhere but do nothing. I used to think that India's social problems are much more serious than China's, but after watching two movies, I feel that India has hope. People in any country have the same yearning for democracy, freedom, equality and hope, whether it is the Chinese who overthrew the multinational powers and Japanese invaders, or the Indian revolutionaries who drove away the British colonists, or proclaimed the "Declaration of Independence". Americans who claim that all men are created equal. If there is revolution, there will be sacrifice and bloodshed. If there is fear, there will be no progress of human civilization. At any time, change requires a price, and those who dare to pay are warriors.
China is really a country that advocates Confucianism and prudence to protect oneself. Since I was a child, I heard the most is "one more thing is worse than one less thing", "it's not about oneself, hang up high", which is the default rule of people to deal with. When faced with injustice, no one dared to stand up against it, which made me want to smash all the rules. When I saw in the movie people sit-in for the pilots who crashed because the government bought inferior planes, when I saw a group of college students assassinating the defense minister in desperation and then confessing and smiling on the radio to face death, I thought of China's "Seventy Ten" Code" and "My dad is Li Gang", one was sentenced to three years, the other was sentenced to six years and served outside prison. What an ironic reality contrast. When I heard the news, besides being angry, there was nothing else I could do. Wouldn't it be better for everyone to raise funds to punish evil? Two adults, with such disregard for other people's lives, you can expect them to be in three years, but they will continue to harm society. What have the Chinese done and what can they do? How many more times will this happen? We just heard that the corruption problem in India is very serious, but we don't know to what extent, let alone compare it with China. But at least they can make a movie like this, and it can pass censorship. And what about China? Don't you feel ashamed that Tang Wei was banned for no reason in one "Lust and Caution"?
If I'm just condemning China's current problems, it's the same as the film says only complaining about people who don't act. Although the plot of the film is brutal, the ideas conveyed have always been positive. I remember the general idea:
"No country is perfect, only make it better.
Just complaining is a sign of lack of courage, because action requires more effort.
So it's better to take action, join the government, the police station, the academy, and change the society. "
I have always said that my personality can't go to government agencies, I will definitely not be able to do it, and I will be squeezed out to death. Dad said that if you are an honest official, not only will you not be able to do it, but your life will probably not be guaranteed. So I stay away from this place of right and wrong. Even in a relatively democratic and free company, when I am filled with righteous indignation, I have the urge to slap the case. Others say how do you survive in society? Looking at the words in the movie, in the final analysis, it is still a fear of death. If you don’t go to the government, you are afraid of being punished to death. If you choose a company, you must go to a free and tolerant environment. I am nothing but a weakling. I have the courage to call, and neither the determination nor the courage to change this country. Many revolutionaries have sacrificed their lives, but how many people around are not afraid of death? I am afraid there are not many revolutionaries. I had hypothesized with my classmates how you would behave if you were born during the war. One classmate said without hesitation: "I will definitely be a traitor." Another classmate said: "I definitely can't stand the torture, absolutely tricks, I can do whatever I want." And I asked, "How do you know which faction counts? What about the traitors? The traitors are all decided by future generations, did you know who would win at that time?" Both of them were speechless. My answer is: "I'm not afraid of death, and I will stick to the side I think is right." I have asked many people the same question, and almost all of them have the same answer, in short, "I'm afraid of death." This is some young people in China, or my circle is too small. Even if I answer that I am not afraid of death, now I am just silently enduring social injustice, thinking about running away and not participating in interest groups, but I do not have the courage to change. It is conceivable that more people are just thinking about how to join interest groups and how to consolidate their existing interests. There are also many young people who are dissatisfied with the status quo and condemn the society and will only watch, thinking of changes even less. I wanted to say, hey, everyone, do something. At least start from standing up, from daring to speak, from not only watching entertainment programs, not just counting your salary, and setting your goals on what you want to consume.
Because of this film, I admire Aamir Khan even more, no wonder this Indian male star with the same height as me is so appealing. A person's charm is not determined by height, but by the inner spirit. A person with idealistic feelings is attractive. The world is still driven by down-to-earth idealists.
