Coherence
" means "coherence and coherence", which may better reflect the theme. It's a movie that's destined to spark a lot of technical discussion, which I won't discuss here. For me, it shows people's multiple selves hidden in the heart through multiple parallel spaces (especially the last 15 minutes of the film). These selves once appeared in the actor's lines in the name of the "dark side", but in fact, every side of a person is a "dark side", a reflection of his personality in reality; The impact is largely context-dependent—that's why the same eight people have different stories in different spaces.
At the end of the film, the heroine, as one of many "shes", decides to actively find a "good" space as the world in which she lives in the future, and does not hesitate to kill herself in that space. This can be seen from two aspects: 1. Since the previous article has shown that in fact all people move around in various spaces without knowing it, it is of course better to actively move than passively, which is the embodiment of the heroine's self-consciousness awakening; 2. , which also shows that she is selfish, and that selfishness in the last second of the movie—whether the call is scientifically possible or not—has caused her trouble.
In general, the film has basically completed the sublimation from a talkative film to a connotative film with the progress of the plot. As a film itself, it is worthy of respect. And the eight actors can also see the response mode and response efficiency of typical ordinary Americans in the face of emergencies-I think if it is placed in an eastern country, maybe this will become a completely different one story.
