After watching it, I feel that the title of the movie is the theme, and the logic is also very clear. It's actually not particularly puzzling. This is how I understand the physical background of this film-because of the arrival of the comet, many independent quantum states (parallel worlds) with similar energies (similar development) are coherent, and after decoherence, each state returns to independence. But because several of these states were perturbed, after decoherence each world changed towards a new outcome.
