Without the director's re-creation, it would be impossible to complete. With the additional intervention and restraint of the producer, the script is often changed beyond recognition.
From this point of view, the position of the screenwriter in the embryonic stage is also understandable. You just present a story that can be filmed, and you don’t know anything about the rest. The money is paid by the boss, the filming, the director, and a series of program operations to complete a film, which is really troublesome. If the producer pays the screenwriter according to the rules and does not play and fool the screenwriter, then as a screenwriter, thank God. The key is to stick to the contract. Why be picky.
The script is constructed in the house, and when people make a movie, they will run around here and there, and it is not easy. Thinking about this, as a screenwriter, you will feel a lot more at peace. It’s just that the status of screenwriters in our country is still very low, and there is no such thing as a sound guarantee contract in Hollywood, and there are often too many things like being played by investors.
