It has to be said that this film is a typical example of a bad hand played with a good hand. I don't know if it's because the production team is too wild, or the "Lord of the Rings" screenwriters really missed it. The movie is full of hot elements, including apocalyptic survival, steampunk, class battles, and more. Any of these elements can mobilize the adrenal glands of the audience, and with Peter Jackson as the producer, the visual effects of the film and the grandeur of the scenes can be guaranteed. The truth, however, is that aside from the visual effects and the blockbuster scenes of the movie as a whole, nothing else works. It can even be said that the storyline of the movie is not worthy of such a grand and majestic scene and such excellent special effects. The scene where the big fish eats the little fish at the beginning of the movie is really hot, including the following scenes of the steam mobile city chase, which are all good. It even reminds people of "Mad Max: Fury Road", but unfortunately, the film production team did not carry out this bloody line of fury and punk style to the end. In the plot, too many irrelevant things are inserted, and too many character clues are interspersed, resulting in insufficient depth of the main story and shortening the plot full of ignition points. What I remember is that the movie is halfway through, and new characters have been added. If more time is given to the mobile city, then the film will be at least a notch higher. Secondly, if the initial planning of the film production is farther, and other characters in the film are placed in the sequel, I believe it will also become another "The Hobbit" - "The Predatory City"
