This is definitely my favorite show. Every time I watch it, I feel yearning for my family.
Randall's dad on the show is bisexual. He is introverted, full of artistic cells, emotional and rational, and I highly doubt that he is also an INFJ. Many of his dialogues have healing power in them.
Especially the part about bisexuals (I was amazed at how open their society was). I feel more and more that human beings are not divided into "family, friendship, and love". Your emotions with each person are unique and they are called relationships. For this kind of person, liking a person is a spiritual need, and whether the other person is a man or a woman is just a worldly discipline.
So I increasingly agree that the other half should be produced among friends. He shouldn't just blindly pursue you just by looking at you. Until the love period has passed, the various shortcomings of the other party are exposed, and they find that they can't handle this, and leave angrily with disappointment.
But in the process of getting along constantly, I see your shining points, shortcomings, some emotional places, some small hobbies and persistence from the original family. Like Monica and Chandler.
Like peeling an onion, a relationship builds layer by layer with a deeper understanding. If interpreted in reverse, this is love, but I prefer to call it a strong and beautiful relationship. Relationships need to be managed.
So if you want to find a life partner, the best way is to try to put yourself in more good relationships. And the feeling of being wrapped in these good relationships is love.
