Heartwarming or heartbreaking.

It's so hard for me to describe my feelings for this TV play… Heartwarming or heartbreaking? No, I wouldn't say that. I haven't really found a precise word to define my feelings. And honestly, I don't need to define them.

I cried a lot, laughed a lot, and mostly, I was switching between the two conditions—bittersweet.

Big Three
Jack and the firefighters who brought Randall to the hospital
A classic line from a midwife doctor whose philosophical nature runs through the entire play.

This TV is so great in a word. It is mainly about family, love, marriage, dream. Life is struggling. You can definitely feel this from the people's tears. But there are also smileys after they fixed or to say overcame the problems. I think this is where the beauty of life lies— those real passions caused by all the good fortune and bad luck.

This is life, either you like it or not, you will have to move on. So why not just try to relax a bit and enjoy more? Listen to your heart. Know yourself. Do it in your own way.

Emotional crisis for the Pearsons

The TV also discusses some big social issues in a delicate way, including obesity(Kate's), racial discrimination(how a black children grows up in a white family), alcoholism(Pearson's heredity), and so on… I won't extend too much on this here, for it must take more passages to truly appreciate the great discussion. Anyone who is interested must give it a try.

?Highly recommended! Can't wait to watch the next season!
