This is England! ! !

This evening I was looking for some words to recommend this movie, but I don't know how to say it.

The weather forecast said that a typhoon will arrive here. I don’t know how many people will have the mood after the typhoon swept through after watching this film. I am excited and depressed.

If our faith is broken, what do we have? Lonely. Maybe there are others that we have been ignoring.

Shane sat on the bed, stroking his father's photo. He used to think that everything he did would make his dead father proud, but suddenly he realized that the people he believed in were violent and untrustworthy. Faith was originally related to people's agitation , When he loses his trust in people, what will he believe in? So when the mother whispered some past events, Shane seemed to understand that all the political, fanatical, extreme, and firmly believed things can't really liberate themselves, and only themselves are the only ones who can be liberated.

At the end of the film, Shane abandoned the cross flag that he once regarded as his faith. At that moment, did he fully understand that in addition to his father being a victim of politics, a period of his youthful agitation was also a victim of faith? Back then, the sky behind Shane was grey, like a beach after a gust of wind.

Forget when I read a few words about skinheads, but mostly understand that skinheads are divided into two factions, one is moderate, entertaining, smoking marijuana... but not participating in politics; and the other is more radical , some racist consciousness, in the era of economic downturn in the 1980s, they believed that immigrants took away their land, food, job opportunities, living space, so they created troubles.

Shane is a child in this era. By chance, he was always bullied by others. He joined WOODY's skinheads, put on leather boots, bibs, shirts, and shaved his hair. Their youthful and restless vent is to smash and smash in abandoned houses. One day, the appearance of Combo changed the whole team, the moderate group was divided, under Combo's speech, shane became a radical and participated in all the harassment activities against immigrants, which also took revenge on the Pakistani who opened the grocery store . I can't forget a shot where Combo puts a knife in the kid's face, threateningly, grabs a football while Shane smiles on his lips. He must have believed then that he was right, that he would make up for his father's death by doing so. But Shane's faith collapsed when Combo was furious because of someone else's happy family and beat up his former companion.

We all used to be weak, Shane is, you are, I am, is it because we want to change, we can use our faith to bully other weaker people and show our power?

We have all been young once. It’s too easy to be led by emotions, too easy to believe that if you don’t break it, you can’t get a new one. For the sake of an ideal and reasonable world, you can use violence to beautify your mistakes, and clamor for right and wrong. So I think of the Red Guards in the early days of the Cultural Revolution, Tiananmen Square, and many, many extreme acts that were branded as patriotism or justice. Those are not the final solution to the problem. I always believe that the tolerant and broad-minded is the final solution.

Maybe I will regret that I have not been so extreme for my faith. I have no deep memories of the past linked to my faith, and I have not participated in the excitement of youth, just wait and see. But I am also fortunate that I have seen a lot, seeing that advocating violence and an iron fist eventually brings about war, conflict, and no peace. It's just that the cycle seems to go on forever, and those voices can always be heard, the voices of imposing responsibilities on people, nationalism, great nationalism, from the little people to the country. In the end, the rest turned out to be hypocrisy and balance under the pretext. Where is the real belief? Where is the meaning?

Shane was originally a bullied child. When he turned into a bully, did his beliefs make him forget the pain that was forced upon those Asians? Is it true that what we cannot violate is the state of "a daughter-in-law becomes a mother-in-law in ten years"? Do you have to impose on others what you have suffered? When Shane smiled, I was sad, for his oblivion, for his confusion, for his excuse to make his father proud.

The economy is in a downturn again, and every economic crisis will lead to a series of problems. Just as every time the economy is down, a big country will engage in a war that is not too small or too small. This kind of foreign sentiment can unite the Chinese people, but it is always the responsibility of passing on it. Ling plunder the wealth of others. This is the case with people, society is like this, and the country is like this.

So when everything is transparent, what is belief?

Will the world achieve communism?

If there is still the slightest bit of selfishness in people, is there no true belief, and it is all paranoia? ? ?

So I ended up writing these as the recommended reasons for the film - "wonderful thought, documentary, rhythm, soundtrack, everything was near perfect". Because any part of the film can deepen, from humanity to politics.

The actors' performances are in place, the video tapes interspersed with historical records illustrate the background, and the music will not stop! !

Also: There are no violent scenes in the film, but the foul language that can’t be seen throughout the film clearly demonstrates another invisible violence. The way the director handles it is quite interesting.
