I can't think of such a bleak ending. Originally I thought it was just another drama where true love saves everything, but the sense of despair deepened as he became more and more ill.
From the time he stumbled up and rummaged through the boxes to find wine, to Sera being sexually abused by a perverted whore, I should have known that from the beginning I should have known that all this would not have a happy ending.
He didn't look back after all, he didn't have a chance to look back at all.
I have no way of knowing what misfortune caused him to be so heartbroken, or how Sera's original boss explained his affection for her. No one has to explain, and there is no need to explain, in Las Vegas, misery and misfortune are very weak under the neon.
Sera and Ben never had sex until finally, in the dimly lit room, when Ben was dying, he said, "You're the only one who keeps me strong now."
So sad and sad. Sera tearfully rides on Ben, and they twitch in pain together. There will be no more heartbreaking sex in the world. There is no incisiveness, no passion, no lingering, like a funeral, they are humbled to the ground together, and they will never be recovered.
