Many people expressed dissatisfaction with what happened to Phantom and believed that Christine should choose Phantom. However, this is the charm of tragedy, doesn't everyone hope that the prince in "Swan Lake" should not die and should defeat the owl and rescue the princess? But it's not right for someone to hate Christine - what Christine fears and cannot accept is Phantom's extreme psychology and actions, not Christine's dislike of Phantom. Just to recall, as implied in the movie version, where was the ring before Phantom gave it to Christine, and Christine gave it back to him? If Christine really hated Phantom, the ring might have been thrown into the water on the spot. But the fact is just the opposite. When Christine kisses Phantom, we can see that she is firmly wearing it on her ring finger...
