I watched it all afternoon yesterday, and I still can't put down the Black Mirror special, Bandersnatch. Let me briefly talk about my opinion.
To me this is a too fascinating work, and the most fascinating thing is not its interactivity (of course, maybe because I can only watch the full ending), but what it hopes to convey: an inspiring positivity A very psychedelic fate. This reminds me of the worldview in Arrival, but it's expressed in a completely different way. Bandersnatch gives us choices, too many choices, Colin, like a prophet and a guide, keeps inspiring us to start over! Start all over! We are elated and full of indignation, thinking that one choice can change everything. But it has been proved again and again, and the final outcome has already been written, we are the manipulator and the manipulator.
ACG culture has brought a new generation of film creation, just like the life extension coin at the end of "Ready Player One", when our heroes no longer have to choose between life and death, film creation has gained unprecedented freedom. Bandersnatch, on the other hand, does the opposite, using an interactive game mode to prove destiny. It can be said that every ending is provocative. Players are only annoyed and reluctant to reopen, but they walk into the same predicament as the male protagonist in disappointment again and again.
Of course, there must be some criticisms of "form is bigger than content" and "the idea is old-fashioned and not deep enough", and the repeated plot is also torture for impatient audiences, but to me, this is really What a wonderful dream, whether it is light and shadow, color, lines or details, or constant flashbacks, a full five hours of myths and traps, I really like it, I really enjoy every Second.
Maybe also because it kisses my values, and for that alone, I think it's worth recommending to everyone.
