Defuse Pain with Black Humor | Losing is Gaining

Forgot how long ago, on the recommendation of a good friend, I watched the first episode of this drama. At the time, I felt very boring and couldn't watch it at all, so I just gave up the show. I accidentally swiped it on station B yesterday. After I clicked it, I got out of control and watched two seasons in one breath. All I can say is: it's so beautiful! Luckily I didn't miss such a good story and episode.

I love the dark humor of this show. Fleabag's way of communicating with the audience through mind wandering is really funny and interesting, giving me a strong sense of interaction. All the pain and grief in her life was diluted by this humor. Self-deprecating is an effective way to heal. Humor may not relieve our pain, but it can make bad situations bearable.

Even though it's a tragedy in the guise of comedy, in the end it feels hopeful. No matter how bad Fleabag's life was, she was trying to live it. It'll work out eventually. Adult life is unlikely to be carefree, everyone has their own troubles, but in such troubles, we can still choose to bravely pursue what we want, so life is still full of hopefully. Even though life has a lot of shitty moments, we still have to choose to live hard.

The second season is mainly about love, which is also very interesting, and the final ending is very realistic but also very beautiful. The priest still chose what he wanted more, lost his love, and got the career he pursued. This doesn't mean that love is not important, it's just that everyone's choice is different. I think of the similar plot in lalaland, which is really sad. Of course I really like this ending, after all This is not wonderland.

I like this drama very much, I have a lot of ideas, but I can't write anything... My ability to express is really not very good = = That's it, that's it.
